An open beer is "frowned upon" in many places. This little trick was taught to me by some of my softball buddies. I'm sure it's an old one but I'll share it with you anyways.
If you want to keep you brew on the down low then make a sleeve out of a soda can to cover up your beer can. I've posted the stealth beer can how to on Youtube and here it is:

yes i can verify that the little beaver worked successfully on every soda can I tried, very easily at that, to produce one of these stealth beer can covers. and yes you need sturdy scissors, as my cheap pair almost broke; I had to switch to wire cutter scissors. The best scissors to use are metal cutting scissors like wire cutters with precise blades. Anyone can do this in less than five minutes. Thanks for the clear instructions and video hellosmarty.

Exactly what type of can opener is that and where did you buy it? I was at the store the other day and they had about 20 different openers but only one appeared to be a side opener style like yours. I bought it and it doesn't quite fit to open the cans, so I'm a little lost here.
